Episode 3: Mom Guilt

Yup you know it. It’s the evil cloud that hangs over our shoulders as a mother! The thing that keeps you up at night, or takes you to the places you don’t want to go, or spend money on the crap you know you just don’t need!!

 

Yup you guessed it MOM GUILT!!!

 

I’m just gonna give that one its own line so we can all stare at it and plan how to defeat it.

I’m still working on this daily!!

 

I am a yeller mom. I yell at my kids and have been drastically working on this and been improving. That’s right give props to yourself where props should be given! My mom was a yeller and I hated it more than anything.

Now a mother of 3 I found it was hard to control. So this was my big one that at the end of the night as I sat there and stared at them sleep peacefully I would feel terrible for screaming at them.

 

So how am I trying to counter act this!!! Reminding myself all the kicka** stuff I did do with them that day. We need to allow ourselves flaws. As long as we are acknowledging them and doing things to improve them, then you are doing your best.

 

Little kids can be A holes man. Just like in the office every once in awhile you have to stand up to your boss and tell him...or her.....”pick your shi* up and go to your room!!!!”

......well you know what I mean!
